More than 15,000 places in US have hottest temperatures ever recorded.
We're speechless. Really, we could rail on about how this might be affecting seasonal migrations, floral phenology, or glacial melts, but what's the point? Haven't we, as Americans, decided simply to enjoy the early spring, marvel at the daffodils, and keep sending as much carbon as we can afford to spew up into the air?
(And yeah, this report is about weather, not climate, but no one can argue that the trend is also upward when it comes to overall temperatures.)
